Role Overview:

DailyTranServices is seeking professional and dependable Executive Drivers to provide safe, comfortable transportation for our company staff and occasional high-profile clients. The ideal candidates will be courteous, discreet, and wellpresented, delivering the executive-level service our clients expect. This role demands excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of major Nigerian cities and routes, and the ability to anticipate client needs (such as assisting with luggage or offering refreshments). Drivers must be punctual, reliable, and committed to upholding our standards of safety and professionalism at all times. Applicants from any city in Nigeria are welcome; please indicate your preferred work location on the application form.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and punctual transportation of staff members and VIP clients, adhering to traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Plan efficient routes and schedules, using GPS or navigation tools to avoid delays and minimize travel time.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (checking oil, brakes, lights, tires, etc.) and schedule regular maintenance to keep the car clean, well-fueled, and in excellent working condition.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out; arrange for professional cleaning/valeting and report any mechanical or cosmetic issues promptly.
• Exercise high attention to security and confidentiality: keep client information private and secure, and handle high-profile passengers with discretion.
• Provide polite and helpful customer service: greet passengers professionally, assist with loading/unloading luggage or packages, open doors, and accommodate reasonable requests.
• Manage trip documentation and logbooks as required (e.g., recording mileage, fuel usage, or incident reports).
• Stay well-informed about local traffic patterns, events, and road conditions that could affect travel, and adjust plans accordingly.
• Be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, or out-of-town trips, as needed by the company.

Requirements:

• Valid Nigerian driver’s license(appropriate class for the vehicle operated) with a clean driving record. Additional local certifications(e.g. LASDRI for Lagos state) are a plus.

• Proven driving experience(typically 3+ years), preferably in a professional or executive chauffeur role. Experience driving in Nigerian cities like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, or other major urban areas is highly valued.

• Knowledge of traffic regulations and defensive driving techniques to ensure passenger safety at all times.

•  A minimum of educational qualification of SSCE/GCE or Equivalent is expected, higher educational qualification – OND, HND/Bsc are of great advantage and highly required as well.

• Good physical fitness and health(able to pass any medical or eyesight tests). Age requirement 23+(to ensure sufficient experience), but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Excellent local knowledge: familiarity with major city roads, highways, and the best alternative routes to avoid congestion.

• Professional demeanor: wellgroomed appearance, polite communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and respectful in all situations.

• Basic English communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues; any additional language skills (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, etc.) are an advantage.

• High integrity and reliability: ability to handle confidential information responsibly and maintain client trust.

• Must pass background checks(criminal record, driving violations) and be able to follow company policies on punctuality and workplace conduct.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication skills: clear, courteous, and able to update supervisors on schedule changes or vehicle issues.

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities, ensuring trips run on schedule and delays are minimized.

• High degree of integrity and trustworthiness, especially when transporting executives or sensitive cargo.

• Calm and adaptable under pressure: able to handle traffic delays or unexpected changes smoothly without distressing passengers.

• Attention to detail: noticing vehicle malfunctions early, maintaining clean and presentable vehicle interiors, and remembering client preferences (e.g., quiet ride vs. conversation).

• Good problem-solving skills: e.g., rerouting quickly around accidents, or assisting clients if a key is locked in the car.

• Basic familiarity with smartphones and navigation apps(Google Maps, Waze) for efficient route planning.
